News is in the air: Upholsterers at the Museum

On October 4th, 5th and 6th 2013 the Museo della Tappezzeria (Upholstery’s Museum) at Villa Spada is going to host the Bologna Upholsterers’ Association for a three days’ event to which the entire citizenry is invited. CTA will be there, too, in order to enjoy this free and open to the public special event.
This one, will be the best opportunity to show creativity and some local craftsmanship’s competences and rediscover old manufacturing, making unique every single piece.
The main purpose of this event is popularizing an unknown profession to the most by meeting expert artisans handing down from one generation to another their competence cooperating with professional designers and exporting their experience and skills abroad.
